How much does it cost for postage?
Our aim at Timbertime Toys will always be to keep postage costs down to an absolute minimum. That’s why we have implemented a capped postage fee of $9.95 for deliveries anywhere within Australia rather than a flat rate.
What this means for you is that with the exception of large bulky items, we only charge the actual cost of delivery, which in many instances will be less than $9.95.
For deliveries under 5kg we use Australia Post satchel bags. But for orders weighing more than that and large bulky items such as furniture items and rocking horses we utilise a number of courier services depending on your location.
Items classed as ‘large bulky’ are clearly marked as such on the product description for ease of identification.For orders of large or bulky items, contact us prior to placing your order and we will calculate the postage costs depending on your location.
The table below outlines our standard postage costs. Simply refer to the product description page which indicates the weight of each toy to calculate your final price.
But remember, except for those large bulky items you won’t pay any more than $9.95 anyway regardless of how many items you purchase. What’s more, if your order is over $150 postage is free!
- Under 250grams = $3.00
- 250g to 500g = $7.50
- 500 and over = $9.95
Can I get my order delivered faster?
Yes, if you would like your order to be delivered by Express Post please email us at email@example.com and we will be able to accommodate this for you. Please note though, there is an additional cost for this service and the final amount will depend on your location.
Do I need a signature?
Delieveries by Australa Post are sent through standard parcel post mail and will not require a signature on delivery unless you specifically ask us to arrange that. If so this isat an additional cost of $2.95. Otherwise the parcel will be left in your letter box, or if too big the postman will leave a card for you with details on how to collect the parcel in person at your local Australia Post Office.
For orders over 5kg we use a number of courier services depending on your location. In these instances a signature will be required. If you are not able to be at home, alternative arrangemtns can be made with the courier company depending on what service has been provided.
When are the orders despatched?
As soon as we receive payment we will try our utmost to despatch any orders the day we receive them. However in busier times of the year we guarantee to post within 24hours. Our cut off time is 4pm EDST Monday to Friday.
Do you have free postage options?
Yes. With the excpetion of the large bulky items we offer a free service for any order over $150 in value. For orders over $150 in bulky items, contact us for delivery arrangements.
Do you deliver overseas?
Yes, we are happy to deliver anywhere in the world. However the capped fee of $9.95 applies only within Australia. If you would like us to ship internationally, please contact us and we can determine the postage price for you.
ORDERING AND PAYMENT OPTIONS
How can I place my order?
There are three ways you can place an order with us.
- Just select from the categories on the left of screen and choose from the range of wooden toys for sale. Once you have finished your shopping, proceed to the checkout and finailise your transaction there.
- Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide us the product description and quantity and we will get back to you the same day to complete payment for your order.
- Call us on 0439 409 461 or 0410 532 792 and we will manually process your order.
What are my payment options?
Shopping via our website where you can finalise your payment by VISA or MasterCard is the easiest method. However if you don’t have a credit card or prefer to pay by direct deposit we can arrange that too.
To take advantage of this option please advise us by email before completing your purchase.
Be aware though that some bank transfers may take up to 48 hours to appear in our account and we are not able to process your order until all funds have cleared.
We will provide you with instructions on how to make payment via an email after you’ve placed your order. To ensure that we can process it quickly please make sure you follow the instructions we will give you and include a reference such as your name when making the payment.
